Diagnostics and Referrals
At Healing Paws, we perform a variety of diagnostic testing including vaccine titer levels, Vitamin D levels, complete blood counts, chemistry values, thyroid panels, C-reactive protein, cancer indices, urine analyses and fecal examinations. Our doctors can also perform fine needle aspirates, tissue biopsies, mass removals, and cryosurgery.
When needed, our doctors have a network of specialists to consult and/or refer to for more advanced diagnostics or specialized treatment plans. These services may include digital radiography, ultrasounds, CT or MRI scans, advanced surgeries or pharmaceutical interventions.
We do not provide elective surgeries, hospitalized or emergency care. We create a holistic post-operative plan and then refer patients for spay and neuter surgeries to local conventional hospitals. For emergent needs, we refer all patients to the Emergency Veterinary Hospital in Springfield (541-746-0112.)
